# NCBA Preseason Stock Report: How All 12 Players Are Looking

# NCBA Preseason Stock Report: How All 12 Players Are Looking

**By Andy Randy | NCBA News**

The NCBA preseason has already produced three different #1 players, major upsets, historic throws, dramatic winning streaks and one trip all the way to the 0-point floor.

With 12 players now in the standings, it is time to look beyond the leaderboard.

This is not a power ranking. Instead, the NCBA Stock Report looks at where every player stands, whether their stock is rising or falling, and what they need to prove before the regular season begins.

## 📈 Connor — Rising

**7–2 | 457 points | +10**

Connor is exactly where he spent part of last season: **#1**.

Unlike some of the other leaders, Connor hasn't needed one enormous winning streak to get there. He has simply continued winning.

His 7–2 record is one of the strongest in the league, and his consistency has allowed him to take advantage as Ari and Easton suffered losses.

**What comes next:** A matchup with Easton could provide the clearest test yet of whether Connor deserves to enter the regular season as the favorite.

## ➡️ Easton — Holding Strong

**7–3 | 407 points | +12**

Easton no longer owns #1, but there is little reason for concern.

The defending NCBA Champion has the **best ball differential among the current top three** and sits only 50 points behind Connor.

His three losses have also come against two of the preseason's biggest stories: Ari and Triston.

Easton's historic five-ball throw remains one of the defining moments of the preseason.

**What comes next:** Connor. The #1 and #2 players have yet to meet this preseason, and that match could immediately change the top of the standings.

## 📉 Ari — Cooling Down

**9–5 | 384 points | +1**

Nobody has experienced higher highs and lower lows this preseason.

Ari put together an incredible **seven-game winning streak**, defeated Easton twice, beat Connor and became the first player to reach 500 rating points.

Then Triston beat him.

Three times in a row.

Ari remains third and owns nine victories, so calling his preseason unsuccessful would be ridiculous. But after looking nearly unstoppable, he suddenly has something to solve.

**What comes next:** Prove the three-game skid was temporary.

## 🚀 Triston — Surging

**9–8 | 278 points | 0**

The record doesn't tell this story.

Triston has nine wins and eight losses, but look at **who he has beaten**.

He ended Ari's seven-game streak and then defeated him twice more—including victories while Ari held #1. He also upset Easton while Easton was #2.

Triston has become the NCBA's premier giant killer.

The only thing preventing him from joining the top tier is consistency.

**What comes next:** Start beating the rest of the field as reliably as he beats the league's stars.

## ❓ Rylee — Still a Mystery

**1–0 | 251 points | +1**

Technically, Rylee has the best winning percentage in the NCBA.

One game isn't enough to mean much.

A 1–0 start is certainly better than the alternative, but Rylee needs more matches before anyone can determine where she belongs in the field.

**What comes next:** Play.

## ➡️ Dravon — Still Developing

**1–2 | 151 points | +1**

Dravon's record is below .500, but his positive ball differential suggests his matches have been reasonably competitive.

There simply isn't enough evidence yet to determine his ceiling.

**What comes next:** More matches against the middle of the rankings should tell us considerably more.

## ❓ Seth — Too Early to Judge

**0–1 | 146 points | -4**

Seth's NCBA sample size consists of one match: a 6–2 loss to Easton.

Losing your first game to the defending champion doesn't tell us much about what kind of player Seth will become.

**What comes next:** Get enough games on the board to establish a real baseline.

## ❓ Daniel — Too Early to Judge

**0–1 | 138 points | -5**

Daniel's first recorded match was rough.

Logan defeated him 6–1 in one of Logan's strongest performances of the preseason.

Like Seth, though, one game isn't enough to draw conclusions.

**What comes next:** See how Daniel performs against a broader range of opponents.

## 📈 William — Better Than the Ranking

**4–6 | 115 points | -10**

William sits ninth.

That doesn't mean the players above him should overlook him.

William has already defeated Connor while Connor was #1 and recently pulled off another major upset by beating #4 Triston while ranked #11.

His overall results remain inconsistent, but William has repeatedly demonstrated that he can beat players near the top.

**What comes next:** Turn occasional major upsets into consistent wins.

## 🎢 Samuel — Anything Is Possible

**4–8 | 100 points | -7**

How do you evaluate Samuel?

He began **0–5**.

He reached **0 rating points**.

Then he won **four consecutive games**.

Then he lost two more.

It might be the most Samuel preseason imaginable.

Last year's "Miracles on Carpet" haven't disappeared. The question is whether Samuel can become a player who doesn't constantly need a miracle.

**What comes next:** Consistency. Nothing else.

## 📉 Logan — Searching for Last Year's Form

**3–6 | 62 points | +6**

Logan M. be the strangest statistical player in the standings.

He's #11 with only 62 points.

Yet he has a **+6 ball differential**.

The former NCBA Championship runner-up has struggled to turn individual performance into wins, although his dominant 6–1 victory over Daniel showed what he is still capable of doing.

There is too much proven ability here to dismiss Logan.

**What comes next:** Convert that positive ball differential into victories.

## 📉 Crosby — Needs a Breakthrough

**0–3 | 40 points | -5**

Crosby is still searching for his first NCBA victory.

At 0–3 and 40 points, there isn't much room left for another loss before reaching the rating floor.

The good news is that the preseason has already demonstrated how quickly fortunes can change.

Samuel went from zero points to four consecutive victories.

**What comes next:** Win one. Everything starts there.

## The State of the NCBA

Three players currently define the race at the top:

**Connor. Easton. Ari.**

Triston is threatening to turn that group into four.

Behind them, the picture is far less settled.

William can beat leaders.

Samuel can apparently go from losing everything to winning everything overnight.

Logan's statistics suggest something better than his ranking.

And several newer players simply haven't played enough yet.

That's what preseason is supposed to determine.

There are still questions everywhere.

By the time the regular season begins, we may finally have some answers.
