The Bed Co. Opening Day Tournament field is now locked, with Easton, Connor, Triston, Logan, Seth, Dravon, Ari and Daniel earning the eight seeds.
## Bed Co. Opening Day Tournament Field Is Set
Wednesday also brought one of the biggest announcements of the preseason: the field for the **Bed Co. Opening Day Tournament has been locked**.
Eight players will compete when the tournament officially opens the NCBA regular season.
The locked seeds are:
**#1 Easton — 716**
**#2 Connor — 549**
**#3 Triston — 334**
**#4 Logan — 281**
**#5 Seth — 253**
**#6 Dravon — 204**
**#7 Ari — 165**
**#8 Daniel — 136**
That creates four opening-round matchups:
**#1 Easton vs. #8 Daniel**
**#4 Logan vs. #5 Seth**
**#2 Connor vs. #7 Ari**
**#3 Triston vs. #6 Dravon**
The most dangerous matchup may belong to Connor.
Ari enters as only the #7 seed after a dramatic fall through the standings, but that number hides what he has already accomplished this preseason.
Ari previously reached #1, became the first player to reach 500 points, won seven consecutive matches and has already proven capable of beating the league's top players.
That makes **#2 Connor vs. #7 Ari** anything but an ordinary first-round matchup.
Easton enters as the tournament's clear #1 seed after reaching 716 points, while Logan's recent resurgence has carried him all the way into the #4 position.
