The NCBA has another tournament champion.

**Logan defeated Easton 6–4 to capture the September 21 NCBA Tournament**, adding a trophy to a remarkable rise that has carried last season's championship runner-up back to #2.

But Logan wasn't the only player making headlines Monday.

Dravon exploded from #18 with four consecutive victories, including stunning upsets over Logan and Connor. William defeated #1 Easton for the second consecutive session. And Easton responded to his losses with six victories and another massive increase in rating.

## Logan Captures the Tournament

The September 21 NCBA Tournament featured four of the league's leading players.

Easton opened by surviving Crosby **6–5**.

Logan faced Triston in the other semifinal and advanced with a **6–4 victory**.

That set up another meeting between the league's top two.

This time, Logan took control.

**Logan 6, Easton 4.**

The victory gave Logan the tournament championship and provided another major result in his extraordinary climb through the NCBA standings.

Only weeks ago, Logan was struggling near the bottom.

He is now a tournament champion and the #2 player in the league.

## Easton and Logan Go Again

The tournament final wasn't their last meeting.

Later in the session, Easton and Logan played again.

Regulation couldn't decide it.

Neither could the first tiebreak.

The match went to a **double tiebreak**, where Easton finally prevailed.

That gave the top two a split on the day: Logan took the tournament championship 6–4, while Easton won the later double-tiebreak thriller.

Logan also finished the session with victories over Triston, Dravon and Kinsey.

His only other loss came during one of the wildest runs of the day.

## Dravon Goes From #18 to Giant Killer

Dravon entered Monday ranked **#18**.

Then he started winning.

First came #2 Logan.

**Dravon 6, Logan 5.**

The enormous upset earned Dravon 68 rating points.

Then Dravon defeated William **6–3**.

Then came #3 Connor.

**Dravon 6, Connor 5.**

Another major upset.

Then Dravon defeated Seth 6–5.

Four consecutive victories.

The streak eventually ended, but even Dravon's losses were competitive. Easton escaped him 6–5, while Logan needed a tiebreak to win their rematch.

Dravon finished the session **4–2** and rocketed six positions to **#12 with 190 points**.

After entering on a four-game losing streak, he produced one of the strongest single-session turnarounds of the season.

## William Beats #1—Again

Once can be called an upset.

Twice starts looking like something else.

Last Wednesday, William entered ranked #16 and stunned #1 Easton **6–5**.

Monday, they met again.

William was now #17.

The result was exactly the same.

**William 6, Easton 5.**

The upset earned William another 68 rating points.

William's overall record remains just 8–14, and he sits #16 with 76 points.

But his list of major victories continues to grow.

He has now defeated Easton in **two consecutive sessions**, both times while ranked near the bottom of the league.

## Easton Still Goes 6–2

Somehow, all of that happened during another strong Easton session.

Easton defeated Crosby in the tournament semifinal before losing the final to Logan.

Outside the tournament, Easton defeated Connor 6–3, Samuel 6–1, Noah 6–5, Logan in the double tiebreak and Dravon 6–5.

William handed him his only other loss.

That gave Easton a **6–2 session**.

His overall record is now **31–10**, his ball differential has climbed to **+45**, and his rating has reached an extraordinary **1,293 points**.

Easton remains far ahead at #1.

But Logan and William have demonstrated two very different ways of causing him problems.

## Connor's Lead Over the Pack Shrinks

Connor's Monday consisted of only two matches.

Neither went his way.

Easton defeated him **6–3**.

Then #13 Dravon stunned him **6–5**.

Connor falls to **16–12 with 367 points and a +2 ball differential**.

He remains #3, but the gap behind him has narrowed considerably.

Houston sits at 317.

Avery sits at 306.

And Logan has moved far ahead at #2.

## Triston Continues to Slide

Triston entered the tournament as the #3 seed and reigning Bed Co. Opening Day Tournament champion.

Logan eliminated him **6–4** in the semifinal.

Triston has now lost three consecutive matches and sits at **17–17 with a -1 ball differential and 271 points**.

Only a short time ago, Triston was celebrating a tournament championship.

Now he has fallen to #6.

The ability to beat the league's best remains unquestioned.

Consistency remains the problem.

## Logan Is Now Clearly #2

The latest top five:

**1. Easton — 1,293 (31–10)**
**2. Logan — 652 (22–15)**
**3. Connor — 367 (16–12)**
**4. Houston — 317 (3–1)**
**5. Avery — 306 (2–0)**

The gap between Easton and everyone else remains enormous.

But behind him, the league is changing quickly.

Logan has transformed from an early-season struggler into a tournament champion and clear #2.

Dravon just demonstrated that #18 can beat #2 and #3 on the same day.

William has now beaten #1 in consecutive sessions.

Connor is suddenly being chased.

And the reigning Bed Co. champion has fallen to .500.

The regular season isn't settling down.

It's getting stranger.
